SRG is going through some rough times. SRG, the 2004 Honda CRV and chief instigator to many of the here published stories, recently got in a fight. SRG lost. Usually, a valiant warrior in the face of opposition, SRG has traditionally trekked for miles beyond the ideal oil change, faced the trivial common car weaknesses such as funky brakes or less than effective wind shield wipers, and delivered when all thought undeliverable. Unfortunately, in the face of being t-boned, SRG crumbled. SRG, almost always an obedient traffic light observer, suffers today due to a less than obedient Dodge Ram Pick Up which found it convenient to rush the red right into SRG's booty. In the face of peril, SRG managed to keep us passengers safe and unharmed from serious injury, and even backed up out of the middle of the intersection with its crumpled rear. SRG now rests in the tower's yard with an uncertain fate. Soon, shallow evaluations will be made upon SRG's frame and rear axle, which will probably overlook the character of the beast. None the less, it is a possibility that SRG will not make it this time. I can only imagine that in the event that SRG will not be repaired, those parts will be recycled and the journey will continue. While I may drive another adventure mobile, SRG will not be replaced.

In memory of his dutiful service here posted are a plethora of pictures directly related to the good times assisted by SRG.

We (Alan + Ty + Derek + I) decided to day trip it to Vegas Ski + Snowboard for the day today. We left around 4:30 rode all day, competed around 3, and rode well. The competition was fierce, and winner-takes-all meant that we took nothing. It was a truly amazing day with fun experienced on all sides. We even made (yes churned out same day) this rad video from our experience!

And here are some photos (screenshots from video) from the trip.

SHHHEEEYYAAAA

Saturday last weekend we (Alan + Jordan + I) day tripped to Big Bear. 13 hours of driving for 1 hour riding in this contest. We decided it wasn't quite worth it, but still don't regret it and would probably do it again. The rail jam was called Battle of the Sexes and was put on by Galvanic Design who did a pretty good job considering the circumstances.

This weekend we (Laiken + Alan + Ty + I) drove to Mountain High Friday morning. We rode and filmed all day to amazing ends. The one and only Andrew Salter came up for a night sesh and fun was had by all. We camped out Friday night 2 miles down the road, which was cold, very cold. Then we tramped back to the mountain for another day of riding and 3rd Rail Jam. Riding was really fun all day and the comp set up was really solid. There were no finals, just 2 heats. I ended up winning the skiing, and Alan + Ty rode super well. 3rd Rail Jam style includes only 1st place so Alan narrowly missed out.

We drove back to Flagland Saturday night with the life-supply stop at In-N-Out arriving home around 11. Sunday we rode in the Downtown Flagstaff street event. Alan and I made finals but did not place. The locals Flaglanders slayed it on the ski side.

We have video from Friday!
