We stopped off in the P town for a night and found the one and only Jake Nepalm with whom we stayed with and explored the town with. We ate some truck stand thai, played some midnight soccer at the local uni, ran around the city, and met up with Laiken and Chris after the soccer game they attended. In the morning we restocked and charged over to the gorge amphitheater. We set up camp and festivalled as hard as we knew how. Top five (because i will be asked) Apparat, Star Fkr, Lord Huron, Group Love, Electric Guest. Honorable mentions: Head and the Heart, Nero, SBTRKT, Pretty Lights. Survived all the festivities relatively in tact, made friends a plenty, painted, got painted, crowd-surfed, and got crowd-surfed upon. I didn't take my camera in. We then couch surfed in Missoula last night at the Eddy house, a house crowded with 7 awesome people stoked on music, couch surfing, ultimate, snow sports and climbing, which was the perfect place to rest and cook some food. It felt like home. We've now driven over to Bozeman. We had some epic road-guac on top of the continental divide with a side of Crystal Castles while on the road. We are also perfecting the collared greens wrap. Results have been good so far.

We began the journey Sunday morning. We (Asher, ride-sharer: Kirsten, and I) drove through to the Schott residence from 8 AM arriving at 10 PM. We stopped to grab a speeding ticket after Vegas, dance under the eclipse, throw frisbees, and admire the closed signs on all the junk shops, antique stores, and thrift shops we walked up to. Monday we drove up a mountain pass and spent the day in a mountain meadow. We indeed did hike up a mountain, or maybe a hill as surrounded by the rest of the Tahoe sierras. We trampolined a bit and had an awesome family dinner as the extended Schott family. Tuesday we ran and jumped in the lake before sunrise and drove the morning through Truckee to Reno where we picked up ride-sharer: Bailey from BC/ Costa Rica. From Reno we crusaded over into Shasta with a little bit of getting lost, a groc-out stop, and a lake jump some where a long the way. In Shasta town we snatched some of the local berries and voyaged on up a forest road to under Mt Eddy. We got stuck in a snow drift before setting up camp in the meadow. Things got meadow-status ghetto when i sliced the tip of my thumb, whilst chopping some dinner, which is currently wrapped up away from my sight and thoughts. The night was cold and painful, but I have pain killers and a plan to keep it hidden from the danger of life. We left the meadow Wednesday morning to attack Portland with a mini stop in Ashland. In Portland we added one Jake Nepalm, one Laiken, and one Chriss to our journey. Scoped the down town, some food carts, some thrift shops, and some midnight soccer.

Been in Flag for a wonderful week longer than planned. We clocked some great family time at the meadow, not much sleep, lots of dancing, some creek, a bit more packing up, a bunch of garden work, a Grand Canyon excursion.
